Hout Bay, South Africa Our most popular itinerary

You can enjoy the attractions of one of the worlds most spectacular cities, tour the winelands & garden route and end your holiday on safari, the highlight of many a trip to Africa. South Africa is an easy country to drive in, with relatively little traffic. Most of the drives on this itinerary are 2-3 hours, with the longest being approximately 4 hours.

Contrasts

What makes this such a popular itinerary is the contrasts. Cape Town is one of the most exciting cities in the world, yet within an hours drive or so of the winelands. The largely coastal garden route centres around Wilderness, Knysna, Plettenberg Bay & the Klein (little) Karoo & Oudtshoorn. Finally you have a variety of safari options to choose from, all giving you access to the thrill of big game viewing in this non-malarial area of South Africa.
