Growing in popularity Mozambique is also home to some genuinely spectacular Indian Ocean island resorts, and has over 2500km (1500 miles) of clean sandy beaches and rugged coastline - all just waiting for you to enjoy and explore.
Exclusive Africa Beach Experience
We offer accommodation choices in the Bazaruto Archipelago, further north in the Quirimbas Archipelago and Maputo itself. The lodges and hotels are of an increasingly good standard and are typically 20-50 rooms in size. Mozambique is for those looking for an exclusive African beach experience, to get away from it all and to enjoy solitude and adventure.
How to get there
Access is via regular flights from Johannesburg to Vilanculos, Maputo and Pemba; Durban to Vilanculos and Maputo; Kruger airport to Vilanculos. Internal scheduled flights, light aircraft and boat transfers then take you on to your chosen island lodge. Extend your stay in Mozambique by combining two islands or include a stopover in the capital Maputo – there are scheduled services from Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Nairobi and Dar es Salaam to Maputo.
