A small, lively and colourful village, nested in the heart of the cirque and at the foot of the Piton des Neiges mountain (3069 m), Cilaos has preserved its naturally beautiful surroundings and its authenticity. The cirque de Cilaos is renowned for the many activities on offer such as abseiling, canyonning, as a starting point for hiking and trekking and also for its thermal waters.

The Hotel Vieux Cep has 45 rooms, all equipped with TV, heating, direct dial telephone and balcony. You will have a breathtaking view from your balcony to the Piton des Neiges, the highest mountain on the Island (over 3000m in altitude) The restaurant offers a traditional cuisine. 

There is a heated swimming pool, Spa, games room, boules, billiard sand table tennis. Also available for hire are mountain bikes and a baby sitting service.
