1 2 Onguma Tented Camp

In the local Herero language, Onguma means, "the place you don't want to leave." Situated on the eastern side of Etosha, Onguma Private Nature Reserve is a 20,000 hectare reserve boasting over thirty different animal species consisting of plains game and predators, black rhino and more than 300 bird species. Enjoy game drives on Onguma or into Etosha National Park, the largest national park in Namibia.

Overlooking a waterhole the seven en-suite safari tents have private patios. In the main building is the dining room, a lounge for relaxing on the sofas watching the animals go by. And when it gets too hot, take a stroll to the rim flow pool. On the reserve is the ‘budget’ Onguma Bush Camp and the contemporary and luxurious Onguma Plains Camp.
