La Digue Island Resort

The lodge, which borders with Anse Reunion beach, is situated in a peaceful and exotic tropical garden of coconut palms, takamaka trees and a variety of flowering plants, providing a cool and breezy atmosphere.

Accommodation

There is a wide selection of accommodation available in a total of 60 rooms, ranging from beach front A-Frame chalet style rooms to Junior Suites. All rooms are Air Conditioned, with Bath and Shower, TV, Tea & Coffee making facilities, Mini Bar, and Direct Dial Telephone.

Dining

The hotel takes Creole cooking very seriously. Le Pecheur Restaurant, where shoes are not essential, offers an appetising breakfast buffet and serves both Creole and International dishes for dinner. There is also a weekly Creole barbecue. Daytime snacks and pastries are served at the pool restaurant and a wide choice of cocktails are available in the lounges or the pool bar.

Facilities & Activities

There is a swimming pool with childrens' pool, an excellent PADI Dive Centre, and a Daily complimentary excursion and snorkelling trip to neighbouring islands and around La Digue, as well as a twice weekly sunset cruise. Bicycle hire is available, and recommended to tour the island, or alternatively an "Oxcart," as motor vehicles are not available on La Digue.

The hotel is only 800 metres from the jetty, and transfers take approximately 15 minutes (longer if by Oxcart!!)
