A Unique lodge on two untouched islands

Islands of Siankaba is a unique lodge on two untouched islands in the Zambezi River, upstream from the Victoria Falls. There is a wide range of activities available, many included in the rate. These include a visit to the falls, canoeing, nature trails, a sunset cruise and a visit to a local village and school. 

There are plenty of optional adrenalin activities also available including white water rafting, bungee jumping, flights over the falls, elephant back safaris, or a visit to Livingstone Island perched on the edge of the gorge. 

Unique & individual views of the mighty Zambezi River

The seven secluded chalets, each with a unique and individually different view of the mighty Zambezi River, are linked by a foot bridge to the island where you will find the bar & restaurant. An overhead walkway in the tree canopy connects the elevated chalets. Additionally the Honeymoon Suite has a private dining area overlooking the Zambezi. 

Working closely with the local community

The lodge works closely with the local community, employing as many people from the area as possible. Extensive training has taken place to teach the local people various skills within different departments of the lodge. 

Since the opening of the lodge only 5 employees have been hired from outside the area and many have been trained. Over 60% of the local construction workers were retained to work full time in the lodge.
