Battlefield Tours
Famous for its battlefield tours to Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift. David and Nicky Rattray, pioneers of Heritage Tourism in South Africa, have created an opportunity for visitors to experience the extraordinary saga of the Anglo Zulu War. Set in the 2 000-hectare Fugitives’ Drift Game Reserve, it overlooks the battlefield of Isandlwana and is home to giraffe, zebra and numerous species of antelope and birds. The Lodge houses a veritable museum of memorabilia, artefacts and relics.
