Small Group Tours

The escorted tours we offer are run on as intimate and personal a basis as possible. In South Africa we use local Portfolio-style guesthouses and lodges, many family owned, wherever possible. In the rest of Southern Africa we follow a similar 'benchmark of the best' ethos. These hotels and lodges normally enjoy an outstanding location, as well as the added benefit of small owner-managed hospitality and friendship.The tours are typically limited in size to 12-15 passengers. This allows the guide to interact on a more personal level with each person and cater to individual interests and needs. The guides on these tours are specially chosen to give insight into the country and people. The smaller group sizes also allows you to experience aspects of the countries, and stay in regions, that would be impossible for bigger groups.

Luxury Vehicles

You will travel either in luxury air conditioned sedans, 7-seater vehicles, customized safari vehicles or luxury 15-seater coaches, depending on the size of the group and the country you are touring. Wherever possible we specify the overnight accommodation used so that you can get a feel for the charm and quality of what we use on tour. Because the hotels and lodges utilised are small in size, we may occasionally use an alternative option. This will be of the same, or of higher quality and standard and always carefully selected by us. You will always have the final accommodation list given to you at the time of booking with full details of each overnight.
